Baker Carbine
£600.00Price
A lighter and shorter carbine version was produced for the cavalry. It still had all the attributes of the Baker rifle, but was easier to handle, and manoeuvre whilst on horseback; it was adopted and used by the Duke of Cumberland’s Corps of Sharpshooters. With its 33” barrel it saw service in 1803.
- 33” (838mm) barrel in .62 calibre.
