Brunswick Rifle
£450.00Price
The Brunswick Rifle was made for the British Army at Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield during the 19th Century. The Brunswick was one of several designs offered to replace the Baker Rifle, despite it being a heavy musket and unable to fire the standard british paper cartridges available at the time, it performed better than expected during its trials and it was ordered to be produced with a 30 inch barrel. In the early 19th Century it was tested against the Baker Rifle and proved to be as accurate under short distances and more accurate over longer distances.
